SetFSB
SetFSB is a useful system information tool that can allow you to increase the clock speed of your processor. With this in mind, SetFSB is designed and intended for advanced users only, as improper use may result in physical damage to your hardware!

Quick navigation through processor information:
Select a clock generator that matches your computer’s motherboard. Click the “Get FSB” button. After this, the program will show you the frequency of your PCI device, AGP device, DDDR device and FSB device. Special sliders allow you to adjust these values the way you want them to be.
Constant monitoring of system parameters:
System parameters, including processor frequency and temperature, must be consistently and carefully monitored. Diagnostics can also be performed that include forcing changes to the SMBus register and the PLL register.
PC overclocking algorithm using SetFSB
- Determine the model of the PLL chip that is read from the surface of the motherboard – you need to find out the serial number, chip model. To do this, you can independently look in the documentation for the device or use third-party software, which will help you obtain information about the existing components of your PC.
- Set the microchip model in a separate list “Clock Generator“, located inside the main application window.
- Click the slider to change the clock frequency.
- Click the “Set FSB” button to save the changes.
If the standard method does not bring you closer to the desired result, then you should use a fallback option. Set the new clock speed by rewriting the hex code. This action should be performed through the “Diagnosis” tab.
